The World’s largest 200MW floating photovoltaic power plant is built by Shanghai Qihua, in Da Mi Lake Reservoir, Binh Thuan Province, Vietnam. The first phase of 50MW was successfully connected to the grid for power generation in June, 2019. They have invested in the construction of a floating system production plant at the project site, to meet the quality and quantity guarantee of the project and complete the project on schedule. The entire floating power station remained intact and safe after experiencing two typhoons in September of 2019, and was highly regarded by the leaders of the Vietnamese government, the National Grid of Vietnam, and the Vietnam Energy Agency.
